Description

The Street Foxes and Springfield are a house dating from the 17th century. The house is constructed of painted brick with a slate roof. It has a lobby-entry plan and two storeys plus a cellar, with a plat band marking the first-floor level. A central multiple brick ridge stack rises from the roof. The front facade has a regular three-window arrangement, featuring three-light casement windows. A central plank door provides access. A possible 19th-century two-storey lean-to extension is situated to the left, rendered in a smooth finish with a slate roof and a brick stack.
