Description

Broad Street Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 16th century, with alterations made in the late 16th or early 17th century, and restored in the 20th century. It is timber framed with applied close-studding and has a tile-hung first floor. The roof is made of plain tiles. The structure consists of three timber-framed bays, with an additional single bay added to the rear. It has two storeys and features a continuous jetty that returns to the left side. There is a central stack at the rear, a projecting brick stack on the right gable, and a rear stack on the wing. The windows are irregularly arranged and consist of three 2-light leaded casements. There is a ribbed door located in a 19th-century lean-to on the right side of the rear bay. Inside, the framing is exposed.
