Description
Water Place is a house located on Water Lane in Hunton, dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. The building is timber framed and features tile-hanging on both floors. It has a main range with a cross-wing on the left side, which is flush with the main range at the front. The house is two storeys high, with the cross-wing having higher eaves. The ridge of the main range is slightly higher to the right of the stack, which is a multiple brick ridge stack located at the junction of the main range and the wing. The building has plain bargeboards and a moulded pendant on the wing. The windows are irregularly arranged, consisting of two three-light casements, and there is a half-glazed door situated beneath the stack. The interior has not been inspected. The property is marked as Warelands on the Ordnance Survey map.
