Description
Norwood Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has plaster infilling, topped with a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features close-studded framing with a continuous jetty. The studding is broadly spaced on the left gable end. The roof is hipped with gablets, and there is an off-centre brick ridge stack that is corbelled, located to the left, along with a smaller stack at the right end. The windows consist of five leaded casements from the 20th century, and there is a central boarded door from the same period. The right end bay may have been added later, and the ground floor has been extended in the 20th century with timber framing, rendering, and a simple wood balustrade. The interior has not been inspected.
