Description

Woodman's is a house that was once a public house, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is probably timber-framed and has a pebble-dashed exterior, with the left end constructed of red brick. The building features a slate roof and stands two storeys high on a plinth, topped with a hipped roof. There is a multiple brick ridge stack located off-centre to the left and a smaller stack at the right end. The windows are arranged irregularly and consist of four casements, including one very small 12-pane glazing-bar light on the ground floor beneath the stack. A boarded door is positioned towards the right end of the building, and there is a lean-to structure on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
