Description
Bedmonton Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 15th century, with alterations from the 16th and 19th centuries. It features a timber-framed structure, with the front elevation clad in red brick laid in Flemish bond, except for the left end bay, which is possibly a later addition made of chequered red and grey brick. The building is two storeys high, resting on a brick plinth, and has a hipped roof that slopes to the right. There is a multiple brick ridge stack on the front slope of the roof, positioned off-centre to the right, along with a smaller brick stack on the left gable and another on the right lean-to. The fenestration is irregular, consisting of three 3-light 19th-century leaded casements and one gabled through dormer to the right of the stack. There is a canted bay window beneath the dormer on the ground floor, and a panelled door located under a flat corniced hood beneath the stack. Additionally, there are lean-tos on both the right and left sides of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
