Description
The Blacksmith's Arms Public House is a building that was originally a house, likely dating from the 16th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is timber-framed, with the front elevation rendered and the right gable weather-boarded. The roof is covered with plain tiles and features two storeys and an attic set on a plinth, topped with a hipped roof. There is a renewed brick ridge stack towards the right end and a small central hipped dormer. The building has an irregular arrangement of windows, with three horizontally-sliding sashes on each floor. There are three boarded doors with very short plain hoods, positioned with one door between the left and central windows and two broadly spaced between the right and central windows. The interior has not been inspected.
