Description
Hazells is an early 19th-century building located on Downs Road in Northfleet. It features cement rendered walls and a slated roof, standing two storeys high. The front elevation includes four sash windows with intact glazing bars on the ground floor and five similar windows on the first floor. There is a doorway flanked by engaged columns and topped with a semi-circular fanlight. A veranda with a tented canopy is supported by trellised iron columns on the ground floor. The west front has a curved bay on the ground floor and three sash windows on the first floor. The hipped, slated roof is set behind a parapet and rises to a lead flat, with an integral service wing.
