Description
Ifield Court is a two-storey late 18th-century brown brick house with a slated roof and a parapet, located in Northfleet. The building features three storeys, with two curved bays on the ground floor that each contain three casement windows. On the first and second floors, there are six flat sash windows on each level. The central porch is adorned with twin engaged columns, a cornice, and a parapet, and it has round-headed windows on the sides along with a semi-circular fanlight above the door. There is a contemporary two-storey recessed addition at the east end, which has one sash window on each floor, and all glazing bars are intact. This Georgian house was constructed adjacent to a 15th-century manor, with the buttressed flint and ragstone walls and window tracery of three cinquefoil lights still visible at the south-east corner of the building.
