Description

Corner Cottage is a building from the 18th century or earlier, positioned endwise to Hever Court Road in Singlewell. It is two storeys high, with the ground floor constructed of red brick and the first floor weatherboarded. The roof is half-hipped and covered with tiles, featuring a 19th-century casement window in the gable end. There is also a 19th-century weather porch. To the left of the main cottage is a two-storey wing made of stock brick, which has two windows and a half-hipped tiled roof. Corner Cottage is part of a group that includes Orchard House, Chapel Farmhouse, and the George Inn.
