Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is a 18th-century cottage located on the east side of Addlestead Road in East Peckham. The building features a red brick ground floor and a weather-boarded first floor, topped with a half-hipped tiled roof that has a tile-hung west gable and a central ridge stack. It is two storeys high and has an irregular arrangement of 19th and 20th-century casement windows. A large later entrance porch has been added to the north side, along with a later addition to the south. This cottage is noted as a good example of a modest regional domestic building.
