Description

Addlestead House is a house built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stock brick and has a plain tiled roof with sloping stacks at the rear. The roof features a ridge with two gables to the north, which flank a narrow central entrance recess on the façade. The gables are adorned with decorated barge boards that include pendants and finials. The house has two storeys and an attic, with three square sash windows that have Gothic-headed upper glazing bars and drip moulds above them. The central porch is gabled and includes barge boards, a pendant, a finial, and canted sides. There are later red brick extensions at the rear.
