Description

Chapel Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on the east side of Red Hill in Wateringbury. The building features red brick on the ground floor, accented with grey headers, while the first floor is weather-boarded. It has a plain tiled gabled roof with end stacks and a catslide addition to the northeast. The cottage is two storeys tall and has a three-window facade with casement windows. The central doorway is fitted with a boarded door. Chapel Cottage is noted as a good example of a modest domestic building of traditional regional type.
