Description
51-54 Windmill Street is a mid-19th century terrace building. It has three storeys and is constructed of stock brick, with the ground floor finished in stucco. The building features long and short quoins and Gibbs surrounds around the windows and doorcases of Nos 51 and 52. The roofs are hipped and covered with slate, adorned with paired bracket cornices. Each unit has two sashes with intact glazing bars. There is a stringcourse between the ground and first floors, along with round-headed sash windows and round-headed doorcases. Nos 38 to 59 and the Emmanuel Baptist Church nearby form a group, with the church being of local interest.
