Description

Scene Farmhouse dates to the 18th century. It is a three-story-and-attic building with a raised ground floor. The farmhouse is constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings, quoins, and an eaves cornice. The roof has two hipped dormers. The front elevation features two sash windows with intact glazing bars, and one round-headed window. A modern porch has been added. A two-story addition with a pentice roof extends from the west side, incorporating a modern doorcase and a decorative lion’s mask that has been reused. A restored doorcase is present on the garden elevation.
