Description
Caddecroft Farmhouse is an early 18th-century building constructed of red brick. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features seven windows, although modern casements have replaced the original sash windows. The farmhouse has rubbed brick lintels and an off-centre door that is framed by a heavy moulded doorcase and an elliptical fanlight. There is a late 19th-century open porch and a heavy moulded eaves cornice adorned with dentils. The roof is newly tiled and nipped, and there is a single gabled dormer. The rear of the building has undergone significant alterations. A brick stringcourse runs along the first floor level, and the corners of the building are accentuated with stone quoins.
