Description

Nos 152, 154, 154A and 156 on High Street are likely to have originally been one house. This 16th-century timber-framed building has been restored, with some timber replaced. The ground floor has been under-built, but the ends of the floor joists that supported the overhang are still visible. The building has two storeys and features a steeply pitched hipped tiled roof. There are three modern casement windows and shop fronts, along with some blocked original window openings. Nos 150 to 156 (even) form a group.
