Description
The Bell Inn is a timber-framed building that was refronted in the 18th century. It has two storeys and is L-shaped in design. The ground floor is covered in stucco, while the upper part features weatherboarding on the south side, tiles on the west side, and a mix of red brick and stone rubble on the rear elevation. A section of the bressummer and brackets, which supported the first floor's former overhang, can be seen on the west front, although it is stuccoed over. The building has a steeply pitched tiled roof with a 17th-century chimneystack. There are three sash windows with missing glazing bars on the south and west elevations, with modern windows located below.
