Description

The Water Mill is an 18th-century house and attached mill building located on Mill Road. The house is three storeys high and constructed of red brick, which was once painted. It features a brick eaves cornice and has two sash windows with intact glazing bars. The entrance includes a doorcase with fluted pilasters, a projecting cornice, and a six-panel moulded door, with the top two panels cut away and glazed. Adjacent to the house is the mill, which stands four storeys tall, with the top storey weatherboarded. The rear section of the mill has been converted into a garage, with a two-storey room above that is partially tile-hung and has a half-hipped tiled roof.
