Description
Mill House Water Mill is an 18th to 19th century water mill that has been converted into a house. The ground floor is painted brick, while the upper levels are weatherboarded. It features a pantile roof with gabled ends and stands three storeys tall. The top floor has four small casement windows with glazing bars, and below these are modern casements with leaded panes. At the north-west end, there is a brick chimney stack with round moulded brick shafts. Adjoining to the south-east is the mill house, which is a red brick structure with a hipped black glazed pantile roof. This house also has three storeys and five bays, with two-light casements featuring leaded panes. On the north-east end, there is a pilastered doorcase with an open pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a fielded panel door.
