Description

White Cottage is a pair of early 18th century cottages that have been combined into one dwelling. The exterior features painted brick and some plastering, topped with a thatched roof that has gabled ends. There is an off-centre brick chimney stack and an external stack located at the south-west end. The building is two storeys high and has four windows, which include small 2 and 3-light casements from the 19th and 20th centuries. The entrance has two simple plank doors, with the left door set in a moulded doorcase and the right door in a segmental-headed opening. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to added in the 19th century.
