Description

The Limes is a 17th-century timber-frame house that has been plastered. It features a steep hipped roof covered with pantiles and an off-centre brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and a two-window range, with 19th or 20th-century two-light casements that include glazing bars. The doorway is located in front of the chimney stack and consists of a plank door with a gabled porch, which has a segmental-headed doorway and shaped barge boards. There is a later brick lean-to on the east end and a one-storey brick wing on the west end.
