Description
This building, located approximately 1 yard east of Brookland Stores, is a former house and shop that has been converted into a house. It dates from the early to mid-19th century. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with occasional grey bricks arranged in Flemish bond, while the first floor is tile hung. The roof is made of plain tiles and has a hipped shape. The structure consists of two parallel ranges and is two storeys tall. There is a projecting brick stack on the right side. The front features a regular arrangement of two windows, which are 6-pane glazing bar sashes. On the ground floor, there are two canted bays with a boarded door located within a 20th-century glazed porch positioned between them, all beneath a continuous corniced pentice. The interior has not been inspected. The building is listed for its group value only.
