Description
A former shop and two houses, now a pair of houses, dating from the early 19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with a pantiled roof and two gable brick stacks and a single ridge brick stack. It has a T-shaped plan.
The two-storey, five-bay front has a dentillated eaves course. An off-centre 20th-century door is located to the left of an early 19th-century shop front, which has glazing bars and a wood pilastered surround with brackets supporting a narrow leaded hood. To the right of the 20th-century door is a glazing bar sash window, and further to the right a sliding glazing bar sash window. The first floor has three glazing bar sashes, and to the right, a further sliding glazing bar sash window. All openings have segmental brick heads. The two bays on the far right are an addition.
