Description

Lyndon Cottage is a cottage built in 1828, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring ashlar dressings, and has a pantiled roof with raised stone coped gables and two brick gable stacks. The cottage has two storeys and a two-bay front. On the right side, there is a five-panelled door with a traceried overlight, while to the left is a glazing bar sash window. The first floor has two plain sash windows. All openings are topped with serpentine ashlar lintels that have fluted keyblocks. On the right gable, there is a circular datestone inscribed with "RG 1828". At the rear, there is a single-storey pent roofed outshut.
