Description
Brookland House is a house that dates from the mid-19th century, likely built on an 18th-century structure. The ground floor is stuccoed with chamfered rustication, while the first floor is rendered, and the left end elevation features tile hanging. The building has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high on a plinth with a plat band. It has a hipped roof with a central rear stack and an additional rear stack at the right end. The windows are arranged irregularly, consisting of four recessed openings: three tripartite sashes and one sash window. The stucco above the ground floor windows is rusticated with the appearance of splayed voussoirs. There is an off-centre half-glazed door to the right, framed by plain pilasters and an architrave, topped with a slightly moulded hood supported by consoles. The interior has not been inspected.
