Description

This barn, located about 15 metres southeast of Little Twitham Farm Cottage, dates from around 1700. It features a timber frame set on a red brick base and is weatherboarded, topped with a thatched roof. There is an outshot to the right that is clad in brick and corrugated iron. The roof is hipped to the left and half-hipped to the right, with a raking mid-strey. Inside, the barn has three bays with aisles, and the arcade posts are supported by quadrant braces, leading up to a clasped purlin roof.
