Description

This barn, located about 20 metres south of Little Twitham Farmhouse, dates from around 1600. It features a timber frame clad with red brick in an irregular English bond, with part of the roof thatched. The barn has a half-hipped roof and a raking midstrey on the centre left, along with a boarded door to the left and three blocks of four-light ventilation slits. Inside, there are four bays and aisles, with quadrant bracing on the arcade posts and a clasped purlin roof, which is in poor condition and had almost no roof cover at the time of the survey.
