Description

Brook Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, set on a plinth, with a plat band and eaves cornice beneath a hipped roof that features two hipped dormers. There are chimney stacks on both the left and right sides. The windows are arranged regularly, with three cross windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all having segmental heads. The central entrance features a half-glazed door within a 19th-century porch that has a small Dutch gable. The right side of the house has three cross windows on each floor. Brook Farmhouse was an early residence of the Oxenden family.
