Description

Fairview Forge Cottage is a pair of houses dated 1750, located on the north side of Drainless Road in Woodnesborough. The building is two storeys high and features a kneelered gable on the right side, with stacks on both the left and right. On the first floor, there are three wooden casements and three cross windows, while the ground floor has two wooden casements and two cross windows, all adorned with flying cornices. The entrances are marked by rib and stud doors set in gabled porches on either side. A central date stone is inscribed with "E H" and has a large heart-shaped stone below it. At the rear, there is a pantiled catslide outshot from 1750.
