Description
Christian Court is a house dating from the 17th century, built on a medieval base and fronted in the early 18th century. It features a timber frame clad with brick on a flint base, while the front range is tile hung on the side elevations. The roof is plain tiled and the building has two storeys and a garret, set on a plinth with a discontinuous plat band and a half-hipped roof.
There is one glazing bar sash window on each floor, and to the right of the building, there is a door with six raised and fielded panels, set in a surround with a rectangular fanlight and a cornice supported by brackets. The rear and right sides of the house have various outshots and irregularly placed windows, along with a large free-standing chimney stack at the rear right. The main rear range has a flint and rubble plinth, some sections in English bond brickwork, a tile hung first floor, and a hipped roof with a gablet.
