Description

Marshborough Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber framed with exposed plaster infill and has a red brick underbuilding, with side elevations made of red brick. The cottage features a thatched roof and consists of three framed bays along with an entry bay. It is two storeys high and has a continuous jetty supported by brackets, with a hipped roof and a central left stack. The first floor has one wooden casement window, one small light, and one glazing bar sash, while the ground floor has two wooden casement windows and boarded doors located to the centre left and at the end right.
