Description

Ivy House is a house dating from the 15th century, constructed with a timber frame and featuring exposed close studding with plaster infill, topped by a plain tiled roof. It has two-thirds of a Wealden plan, with the left wing missing.

The house stands two storeys high on a brick plinth, with a jettied wing to the right that returns on the side elevation under a hipped roof, which has a stack on the left. To the left, there is a two-tier mullioned hall window, while the right side features one wooden casement window on the first floor and a three-light shuttered mullioned window on the ground floor. There is also a single-storey extension to the left, which includes two wooden casements and a door in the left return.
