Description

The Coach House at Street Farm is an early 18th-century house. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The building has a plinth, a plat band, and a wooden moulded eaves cornice to the roof, which features shaped and swept gables, three gabled dormers, and stacks to the left and projecting at the right end. The windows are regularly spaced, with six glazing bar sashes having segmental heads on the first floor and five on the ground floor. The front door, located in the second bay from the right, is made up of six raised and fielded panels with a rectangular fanlight and a flat hood supported by brackets. The interior is reported to be panelled. Historically, the house served as the seat of the Jull family, later becoming a vicarage and then the village poor house.
