Description

Pippins and Mistways is a pair of cottages built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed of red brick and timber framing with weatherboarding, topped with a thatched roof. The cottages are built in three stages and follow a curving ground plan. They are one storey high with an attic, featuring a plat band on the right-hand section. The roof is hipped, with stacks at the end on the right and clustered to the left. There are three raking dormers, one wooden casement window, and three 20th-century alloy casement windows. The boarded doors are located to the right in a moulded surround, as well as to the centre right and on the left return. The timber-framed section on the left is reportedly older than the brick sections.
