Description

House. Dating from the 16th century, Ham Manor was extended in the early 18th century and altered in the early 19th century. It is timber framed and rendered, with a slate roof. A red brick extension with a plain tiled roof exists to the rear. The front elevation has a plinth and a moulded wooden eaves cornice, with a large projecting stack at the left end and further stacks in the centre left, right end, and rear right. The upper floor has five glazing bar sashes, while the ground floor has six. The central door is of six panels, with an open pedimented surround on a pilaster frame. A rear wing, constructed of red brick, has two full storeys and an attic, featuring a sunk, blank panelled mezzanine storey. This wing has two glazing bar sashes and two round windows on its first floor.
