Description

This is a headstone dedicated to John and Joyce Dilnot, located about 4 metres east of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. It dates from the 17th century, marking the burial of Joyce Dilnot, who died in 1672, and John Dilnot, who died in 1700. The headstone stands approximately 2 feet high and is inscribed on both sides. One side features a simple scrolled head along with a skull and bones, while the other side displays a winged hourglass, which is damaged.
