Description
This pair of headstones, located about 13 meters southwest of the porch of the Church of St Peter and St James, dates from the early 19th century. They are made of slate. The western headstone commemorates John Box, who died in 1832. It features a nowy head with a carved border and an eternal lamp at the top. A scratch-moulded border surrounds the inscription, which includes a verse below. The eastern headstone, commemorating John Box who died in 1833, has an elaborate shaped head and shares a similar design.
