Description

This is an early 18th-century building of two storeys and a basement, located on the south side of Griffin Street. The front is cement rendered and features a distinctive Dutch shaped gable. The roof is covered in old tiles and incorporates a skylight. The windows are sash windows; the upper floor windows retain their original glazing bars in a vertical pattern, while the ground floor windows have vertical glazing bars only. A stringcourse runs along the front. A doorcase is situated on the right side, leading to a six-panelled door with the top two panels cut away and glazed. Numbers 13 to 17, Griffin Street, form a notable group.
