Description

Keeper's Cottage is a mid-19th century estate cottage located on Keepers Hill in Patrixbourne. It is similar in style to other cottages in the village. The cottage is built of chequered red and blue brick with a tile roof, featuring centre grouped stacks. Decorative bargeboards adorn the gable ends, and there are two gabled dormers with applied timber ornament and diamond-paned casement windows. The ground floor has two rectangular bays with carved entablatures and three-light casement windows. An arched door is framed by moulded woodwork and features two carved round-beaded panels. A gabled porch has carved bargeboards, a finial, and twisted columns. A rear wing extends from the main body of the cottage.
