Description

Nos 1, 2 and 3, The Green are a timber-framed building, likely dating to the 17th century or earlier, with some elements predating that. The upper storey retains original timber framing featuring curved braces and plaster infilling. The ground floor has been rebuilt in red brick. The roof is hipped and tiled. The building has five windows; the first-floor windows are casements, one with three lights and modern glazing bars, while the ground-floor windows are of three and two lights. There are three gabled tiled hoods above the doors.
