Description

This is a former oasthouse, dated 1869 and located on The Street in Bekesbourne. The building is constructed of red brick and has a tiled roof with four hipped dormers and hipped projections at each end, as well as over the central hoist. It features four mullioned and transomed windows with diamond-paned casements. Three cylindrical drying kilns, each with a conical tiled roof and a cowl and fantail, are present. The oasthouse was part of the Bifrons estate.
