Description
Saw Mill Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage constructed of chequered red brick with a plain tile roof. The building is double pile and has two storeys. On the front, there are two 3-light glazing bar casements, with the ground floor windows featuring segmental heads. The central door has two glazed panels and four fielded panels, and there is an early 19th-century latticed gabled porch. The gable ends have external stacks, and the rear gable on the right is roughcast. The rear elevation mirrors the front detail, with the door featuring a hood supported by straight brackets. Additionally, there is a single-storey 18th-century outshut on the southern end.
