Description

The Green Man Public House is a 17th-century building with a timber frame. The ground floor is finished in painted plaster, and there is a plastered floor band. The upper floor features painted 17th-century brick. The roof is gable-ended, covered with plain tiles, and has a central chimney stack. The building has two glazing-bar casements and a 19th-century gabled porch. Inside, there are good chamfer-stopped floor beams and joists in the left-hand bay. There is also a later lean-to extension at the rear.
