Description

Church Cottage is a mid-18th century cottage with 19th-century additions to the right. Constructed of red brick and covered by a hipped roof of plain tiles, it has end stacks at the rear. The cottage is arranged in a T-shape, with its main front facing at a right angle to the street. It is two storeys high, featuring a dentil brick band along the eaves. The upper floor has three sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath segmental arches. A central six-panel door, featuring a traceried transome light, is sheltered by a flat porch hood supported by brackets. A single-storey addition, with a slate roof and two windows, extends to the right.
