Description

Batchlors Hall is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is rendered and has a plain tiled roof, with two rendered stacks to the left. The front is gabled, and features bargeboarded eaves. The house is three storeys high, with a mixed pattern of windows. A "Venetian" style casement window is located on the second floor. A glazing bar sash window with flanking side lights, the centre light being pedimented, is on the first floor. The ground floor has an angle bay casement window to the right, with a dentilled band along the top. A door is set into the left-hand return front, sheltered by a flat-roofed porch hood supported on brackets. Three glazing bar sash windows are present on the second floor of the right-hand return front. The building is included on the list solely for its group value.
