Description

These stables, located 15 yards north of the Flying Horse Inn, date from around 1700 and have been repaired in the 19th century. They are built from chequered brick in English bond and feature a plain tile roof. The structure is one storey high and includes a hay loft, with a loft door that breaks the eaves and is topped by a small gable. There are two wooden casements, one on either side of a half-door, all set in segment-headed openings. Some interior floors and partitions remain intact. The stables are included in the listing for their group value.
