Description
Forge House is a house that dates from the 16th century, with cladding added in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is timber framed and sits on a plinth made of flint and rubble, featuring red brick cladding and a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys, with the plinth extending to the three right-hand bays. A shallow pilaster separates the left end bay, which does not have a plinth. The roof is hipped and has a ridge stack located at the left center. There are three windows, along with one blocked window, featuring 19th-century wooden casements on the ground floor set in rough segment-headed openings. Additionally, there are two blocked doorways on the left and right sides.
