Description

Bay Tree Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features chequered brickwork and a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and includes a plat band that is interrupted above the doorway. The roof is hipped, with a central stack located at the rear. The front has a regular arrangement of three windows, which are margin light sashes with rendered heads. There is a 19th-century two-light panelled door set within a 19th-century porch. To the right, there is a pentice that dates from the 18th century.
