Description
91 High Street is a large 18th-century house that stands three storeys tall, with attics and a basement. The exterior is finished in stucco, and the roof features three hips on the side along with two dormers. The building has a tile-hung parapet and includes eight sash windows with intact glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are three bay windows, each with three lights and topped with a cornice that has machicolations. The entrance features two doorcases set in panelled reveals, accessed by three steps with a handrail. Each doorcase is flanked by pilasters and topped with pediments. The fanlights are semi-circular for No 89 and rectangular for No 91, and both doors consist of six fielded panels. Nos 83, 83A, and 85 to 91 (odd) form a group with this building.
